Welcome to La Lionne- Beauvallon Bartole

A beautiful house in a guarded "domaine" - Beauvallon Bartole - Located halfway between Ste Maxime and Grimaud and with views to St. Tropez and the bay front. An undisturbed property of approximately 4,000 sqm. When you pass the gate you are greeted by a cobblestone area for 3 cars. There is the garage with separate laundry and a bedsit apartment downstairs with a room with kitchen and bathroom with shower, toilet and sink.

You continue on a gravel coated trail to the house that is built and furnished in typical Provencal style with a very high standard. Fabrics and furniture from KA International and antiques collected over a long period. Large kitchen, spacious dining and living room with fireplace. On the 2nd floor there is a large Master Bedroom with its own dressing room and large bathroom with all amenities - bathtub, shower, 2 sinks and bidet. Separate toilet. In addition, a combined office / bedroom on the other side of a small sun terrace. On the main floor there is one guestroom with private bath on the one side and 3 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms and a separate toilet the other side of the living rooms. Above these is a "dormitory" with 4 beds, sink and shower.

Large, partly covered terrace at the front of the house with 2 sofas and dining table for 8-10 people. In front of the house is the swimming pool (heated if required) with fully equipped outdoor kitchen and separate shower, boule court and ping pong table.

Nearby beaches are family friendly and there is the possibility of renting beach chairs and there are 2 restaurants and hotels on the nearest beach. From June 25th to August 20th, the price is NOK 50,000 for a week. Out of season NOK 20,000-35,000. Autumn holiday and Easter NOK 40,000. It is possible to rent bed linen and towels. For prolonged rent the price can be discussed. Walking distance to beach with 2 restaurants. Golf and tennis court are at the Hotel Beauvallon - just a few hundred meters linear distance.

Booking for 2017 is already underway - so it pays to be early:-)  

We are also the owner of the next door house, Les Terrasses Blanches, so if one wants to travel with a larger group we can take up to 26 people - With a view to St. Tropez.

Provence

Provence is known for its food, wine and perfume, its wild and beautiful scenery and not least has its light attracted many artists over the years. Provence is a well known holiday resort especially for the sun, but also to experience stone-age cave paintings, Roman ruins and other building works. Côte d'Azur

This coastline was one of the first modern resort areas for the British upper class at the end of the 18th century. Later it became the playground and vacation spot of British, Russian, and other aristocrats. In the first half of the 20th century by artists and writers as well as wealthy Americans and Europeans. Many celebrities, such as Elton John and Brigitte Bardot, have homes in the region.

Ste Maxime

Nowadays tourism is the largest source of revenue for Ste Maxime but the city is very much "alive" all year round with 13 519 inhabitants (2007). There is the old town with shops, markets, restaurants, bars and cafés opposite the harbour. There is a shoreline promenade with parks, pine trees, boulodrome Prince Bertil, the tourist office and the city beaches. Also a Casino with its own piece of white sand.

St. Tropez

It is located on the French Riviera, and it is known today for its famous and extremely wealthy summertime guests. It has been dubbed the 'playground to jetsetters, fashion models, and millionaires', and it is most-enduringly known as the place where the iconic Brigitte Bardot was "discovered" and for its role in the liberation of southern France during World War II.
